At Villavakantie, we believe a holiday home should offer more than comfort alone—it should be a place with a story, a setting that inspires, and an experience you’ll remember.

With years of experience in hosting guests, we know exactly what makes a stay truly enjoyable. Our journey began after a disappointing rental experience of our own: too little privacy, basic interiors, uncomfortable seating. We wanted something better—and decided to create it ourselves.

From our first charming farmhouse De Eekhoorn, to its sister De Egel, and later our beautiful villas Sudersee and Bon Vivant, we explored the most delightful corners of the Netherlands.
But new adventures awaited. In 2024, we followed our hearts southward and became the proud owners of Casa dos Cantoneiros, a unique historic villa in the Algarve. Once marking distances on the old main road—now peacefully located in a protected nature reserve—this little monument stands alone in its authenticity. There truly is no other like it.
